Love this game store, it's just a quiet little surprise in the middle of downtown Hastings. Always pleasantly surprised when I stop in.

This store is great! The owner is very nice and very helpful. My son brought in a Pokemon card to sell and the owner told him that is was worth over 100 and advised him to keep it and sell it in a year when it would be worth more. He could have gauged my son, but was very honest with him. They have a great selection of board games and it's always great to support a small, locally-owned business.

Amazing store if you're looking for anything from pokémon cards to video games and vintage items and board games. Highly recommend checking this store out!

Employees are all very knowledgeable about many subjects and very personable. They can order in many things, have order pickup options, and seem as if they're being very responsible in these times. It's a great local gaming store.

Amazing owners, friendly staff, great prices and a place to hang out in Hastings that is open until 10pm and not a bar! No purchases required. The shop looks small when you walk in but it is packed with comic books (new & collectibles), manga, tabletop games, expansions, accessories for games, console games, console accessories, D&D books, minis and everything else you want, space to play: collectible card games, store owned tabletop games and screens to play store owned console games! Drinks, snacks and a coffee shop which is coming soon. I thought I saw everything in the store but figured I would walk around again - I had missed so many things the first time around. I am still not sure that I saw everything. I am looking forward to spending more time at the shop. Maybe taking a walk along the river to collect lots of Pokémon and hit a gym at the same time. The store really has everything. Kids can hang out and play games at no cost. If Mom or Dad need to bring a child to play there are plenty of options for them to have a drink or a bite to eat while they wait. Accessible entry to the store (ramp up, no steps). Street parking and a brand new parking deck about a block away.

The store is great. The women that work there are always super nice and helpful. The "comic guy" there ruined my experience with the store though and thus the 3 star rating.

Level Up is fantastic! It doesn't matter if you're new to nerd culture, an old school MTG pro, if you're just a hobby player, or if you're looking to pick something up for a long-lost nephew. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They don't always have every game imaginable available, but their selection is good and current. As well, they are more than willing to order in something for you if they can AND they have a huge catalog of stuff online as well, so it never hurts to ask if they have something or can get something. They also take trade-ins, so if you've got a dusty box of Atari 2600 games lying around and want to get the latest CoD, you can do it pretty painlessly (except emotionally, because getting rid of old stuff is hard sometimes and I get that). I tell my friends from all over the metro to check out Level Up. #SupportLocal

Wonderful store. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a huge selection of board games and vintage video games at decent prices, plus have a huge amount of MTG cards in stock. Their policies during the pandemic keep people safe in their store.
