They've been fantastic with all the things I've had crop up in the last couple months. Very patient and understanding. The few times I've I've needed to ho to the ER they were quick to see me and get me on my way.

This is my second time giving birth here. The first time i was here(2016) my stay was super amazing and the nurses always gave me the best care that I’ve ever received. Now for the birth od my second child recently i was puzzled by the lack of attention. The day nurses were great but some of the night nurses would even forget my request. On my second night staying there(i had a c-section) i did not see the nurse at all and my husband said he never saw her come at night either. After that i just wanted to leave there was no point for me to stay there. I had to monitor my own outputs since they told me to do it because they didn’t want to be comfortable in n out. The lack of care was definitely noticed mostly older nurses were there. I expected my experience to be like the first time but now i don’t know if i would want to have another baby here

I just was discharged from Mary Lanning Hospital after having my daughter. I felt so taken care of, so helped and I felt the same about my daughter. Truly the nurses were wonderful and my doctor was just as amazing as well. Everything about from the admission to the surgery to the care afterwards was great.

I would like to see a massive overhaul of this hospital. Your physicians and staff are either overworked or under qualified. The things I've experienced here range from downright rudeness to negligence. Unfortunately, when your CEO and board cares more about the bottom line than social services and patient satisfaction, this is what happens. Also, quit asking your employees for donations out of their paychecks. Who are you? Ebenezer Scrooge? You have plenty of other donors and fundraisers, not to mention most of your staff is grossly underpaid. If any current staff sees this, don't bother reaching out to me. I've voiced every single concern I've ever had with you (from HR years ago to each department as a patient). This is the one place where hopefully I won't be silenced.

We visited the ER for my son's appendicitis like symptoms (sharp stabbing pain in his lower abdomen for about 6 hours). When we got to the ER that evening, they immediately started an IV - saline solution with antibiotics and pain reliever. They did a cat scan to check out his appendix but were not able to find it (they stated that he was too skinny). They said that his intestines also appeared to be inflamed. They were adamant that he must stay at the hospital overnight so that they could monitor him. We reluctantly agreed to leave him for the night. As soon as we agreed to leave him, they demanded a Covid test - which came out positive. Their response to the positive test was \You need to go home\. They told us that the positive covid test explained everything - ie the sharp stabbing pain in his lower abdomen. I was in shock with the 180 degree turn around. Now they told us that if he did stay, he would be isolated in the ICU and that no-one would be able to see him. We went to our Primary care physician a couple weeks later. She told us that the written diagnosis from the cat scan was that he was constipated in his lower intestines. She prescribed OTC laxative. I am appalled that an APRN, an MD and the cat scan guy were not able to figure out what was wrong. Instead, I had to pay the 8,000 ER bill and then had to take my son back to our regular doctor and pay her also. I'm disgusted to say the least.
