These guys were great for our wedding bus shuttles! We had planned 3 shuttles before the wedding and 3 after it was over. We ended up filling the buses and they had to add another trip before and after. They did it without having to be asked without getting crabby and then didn't even ask for more money! It was great to have a great bus company go above and beyond on our wedding day to save us the trouble of having to deal with it!

My daughter has a bus time pick up of 8:20am. This is what they sent us. The bus driver consistently gets there at 8:13-8:15 in the morning, but as late as 8:20. She has missed it a few times because she has gotten here so early. I called and complained 3 times. Twice I was told by the men there to basically have my 6 year old sit out there 5 min early. What the hell! When it's 20 degrees out they apparently have no problem letting little kids just sit there, not to mention the walk to the stop so they are out for 10 minutes! May not seem like a big deal, but most adults hate sitting outside for more than a few minutes when it's that cold, but have our kids should do it no problem, what the heck. The latest guy told me the issue was the driver can never predict how long it will take to cross HWY 55. Well okay, but in the public transit, if they are super early they wait at a stop so people don't miss it, why can't they do the same. I mentioned this and he just brushed it off and repeated that my child just needs to get out there earlier. So disappointed in all of these adults, that apparently have been left in charge of our children. The Hastings bus system needs to work and not just on the drivers. I don't think it's much to first ask them to be there when they say they will and for them to be at that time consistently. So frustrating.

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I first moved to Hastings in July of 2018, and transferred to the school district to start my junior year. The first day, I missed the bus on the way to school and on the way back because the bus left WAY too early. On the second day, I finally got a taste of what would come. The bus was loud and cramped. Kids as young as 10 were riding our bus because the bus company consolidated middle and high school routes. These kids were talking about things no 10 year old should know about: sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. Our bus driver has done absolutely NOTHING to alleviate the situation even when I have mentioned to him over and over that this is absurd and these kids should not be talking about this. The bus is old and rickety, and it can barely go down the road without bumping every which way. In the afternoons, kids blast their speakers on the bus to the chagrin of people around them. Multiple times, the entire bus has SCREAMED the chorus to \Sweet Caroline\ by Neil Diamond. It's very obvious that the bus driver is annoyed by this, but he doesn't. Do. A. Single. Thing. Not one thing. The final straw that inspired me to finally post this review is what happened today. Our bus was scheduled to show up at 6:44 AM. It didn't show up until 7:15 AM, and even then, it didn't pick up everyone on our route. I have tried to lodge numerous complaints with both my bus driver and Hastings Bus Company and they have not responded at all. This is unacceptable Hastings Bus Company. If you continue down this road, you will lose more \customers\ that are as disgruntled as me. FIX YOUR PROBLEMS!
