I visit this marvelous restaurant every couple of days since I enjoy the good air that is unique to this place. The staff is highly loyal and experienced. The service is exceptionally quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is outstanding. I have been there often and I was always happy. The payment is honest. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Food was good (except the tiramisu - cake w/ whipped cream...whatttt?) but dining experience, not so much. Had a few things happen that made dinner less than enjoyable. First, we were next to a table that brought their home issues to the restaurant, pretty uncomfortable for those around. Second, a few obnoxious people, who quite obviously had one too many on the golf course, were sat next to us. The obnoxiousness could have been bearable until the belching began. Finally, we had a to-go entrée that was supposed to come with a house salad. When we asked about it, our server told us their was an up charge for it. When we showed her the menu didn’t state that, she continued to argue w/ us. Again, not making the experience enjoyable. So maybe the thing to do is order takeout.
This was my wife's and I's second visit to Giuseppe's since we moved to the area. We were excited to come back and dine in and the experience met and exceeded our expectations! Ian was our server and he was spot on with his suggestions for entree selections and wine pairings as well. We thoroughly enjoyed apps, cocktails, wine, salad, entrees and dessert for an extremely reasonable price. The portions were more than fair (dinner for a second night) and the quality is true Italian feel in a lovely small town setting. A total hidden gem that is on our permanent rotation and our go to for authentic Italian close to home.
I moved to Haymarket 6 months go, and this is my favorite spot. I’m so thankful that they have a huge patio. During Covid times, dining outdoors just makes me feel safer. The food is always delicious, and the know how to pour a proper glass of wine. I totally can’t stand it when I go out, and get a tiny glass of wine for 10. Give this woman a proper pour! Giuseppe’s does just that. The pizza is good (I’m from NY), the garlic bread is amazing, and my favorite dish is chicken Marsala. The service is spotty, depending on who you get. I like the young lady with dark hair and purple highlights (don’t know her name), and Rhys is pretty good. I’ve had some laughably bad servers, but it didn’t bother me because I could tell they were trying. Anyway, nice place.
Great Italian lunch! Simply amazing food and outdoor seating during Covid. Great service as well. Love this place and highly recommend the caprese salad and Greek salad.
