Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences in customer service I've ever had. My wife and I purchased furniture and had it scheduled to be delivered today. After waiting for four hours in an empty home without hearing anything from the company, we waited another half hour on hold to find out that the driver is "delayed" and it should be delivered in about 5 hours (10 hours late). We burned an entire day on something that a 30 second phone call could have prevented. This company is the poster child for how to not do business. Nearly every review I've read online is about a similar experience of waiting for much longer than the initial window and with no communication whatsoever. We used the online status checker to find that our delivery is both "being picked up" from origin and "delivery in progress" at destination. What is the function of having an online system that doesn't actually track the status? I can't believe furniture stores contract with you guys, and I further can't believe that in 2015 your primary means of communication with customers is us calling you and waiting on hold for 30 minutes. Even your hold message is a continuous nonstop loop of several different voices saying "thank you for holding" one after the other. Use email, direct text messaging, automated phone call system, online status checks that actually function in order to communicate information to your customers. I really hope you guys will take a long, thoughtful look at this feedback and others all over the Web that contain very similar criticisms. Until then I intend to go out of my way to never again send you any business.

What a piece of garbage company! Unfortunately Google Express started using this company for it's deliveries in the bay area. They were supposed to deliver a thousand dollars worth of music equipment to my house, which of course required a signature. They could only provide a 12 HOUR window, so I stayed home from work to deal with this. By 7PM nothing had arrived, so I called Google customer service and they said the company had just "decided not to deliver it" around 2 PM and had failed to notify me. They said the shipment was GUARANTEED to be delivered the next day by 9 AM, which it of course was not. When I tried to cancel the order, Google said they had tried to contact Dynamex, but were unable to, so I could just refuse to sign. Guess what, they dropped the delivery off without even ringing the door bell at 9 PM. And Guess what else, surprise surprise, the boxes had been opened, and were all ripped up. So now I have to re-label the boxes and have them sent back via a real delivery company, FED-EX. I have been a loyal user of Google express for over 2 years, but I will no longer use the service. The issue is still not resolved, and I have had to use my credit card company to cancel payment. I strongly recommend not using Google express until they change delivery companies.

Evidently Google Express uses them now, Not only did my package not arrive on the day it was supposed to (They used the excuse my apartment wasn't accessible, when my apt has no gates and my door is nearly on the main street) but when my order finally did arrive, it was missing items( Ordered 4 24 packs of soft drinks for a party, only received 3). Absolutely Horrible. If Google express continues to use them i'll discontinue service.

Easily the worst company I've ever dealt with in any category. A shipping company that simply fails to deliver time after time -- and never tells you they are not coming. In the past week, I've spent hours on hold, scheduled the same delivery 4 or 5 times, and still haven't received anything.

Dynamex did not deliver even after two phone calls over two days. Seems to be no communication between dispatch and driver. Complained to Amazon. Will not ever use Dynamex. Will do everything to convince Amazon to drop Dynamex. Stick to UPS.

I don't know what all these other bad review are about. I had ordered a couch from Ikea online. The day before my scheduled delivery I got an automated call from Dynamex with the delivery window of 10 am - 2 pm. Around 9:30 am the day of the delivery I got a call to confirm that I was ready as they were 30 minutes out. 20 minutes later I get a call that they are here. Walk out and meet the delivery guys, show them to my apartment, drop it off, sign some paperwork, and they're gone. Fast, easy, and the guys were friendly.

I am a stay at home mom. I checked for updates throughout the day to see where my shipment was. It said it would be delivered by 8 that night. Shortly after 8 p.m. the website said there was a delay and it would be delivered within the next 3 days. I woke up to a text from amazon saying it had been delivered. I checked tracking and sue eenough it said delivered on our front porch at 836 pm. Wrong! No package was delivered. Someone is always home and we have a dog who would have notified us if someone was here. Also we live out in the country, the chances of someone swooping it from our porch is slim to none. I'm sure the person got lost since it was dark and just marked it as delivered. What a shame im,sure they could have made a lot of money from amazon. I have requested they not be a carrier for any future orders.
