On one of the worst days for my wife and I when we had to put our dog down, Heart and Soul Animal Urgent Care took amazing care of us. The compassion and care that Dr Reiseberg and her team showed us during our time there was above and beyond what we expected. They were so kind when explaining our options for care, and gave us all the time we needed to make decisions. They truly gave us the most comfortable experience to lay our loved companion to rest.

I would not recommend MetroVet UC. On Friday Dec. 4, our 4-year old cat was very sick and in obvious pain. Our regular vet didn't feel they had the diagnostic tools to properly diagnose his condition and sent us to MetroVet Urgent Care. Our vet said MetroVet has the tools to diagnose. The vet at MetroVet called and asked what was wrong with him after my wife did the no-contact Covid drop off. She explained we didn't know, only history was at 9 months he had a urinary blockage. MetroVet just went with that, with no x-rays or sonogram to properly diagnose, also he mentioned my cat was the type who didn't want to be touched or messed with. My wife reminded him that our cat was in pain and not normally like that. After all was said and done she was charged 408. Our cat was misdiagnosed of a possibly blocked urinary tract and sent home with food and meds he didn't need. Next day my wife was able to find a puncture wound on his side and an abscess that went along with it. She encouraged our cat to clean by shaving the hair away from it, before taking him back next to our regular vet who gave the right med and antibiotics for his abscess. Now no longer in pain, he is healing well. Zoom in to view missed puncture wound below. Extremely bad experience at MetroVet!

I had an amazing experience at Heart and Soul and would recommend them for any same day/urgent care/emergency needs for your pets. After having a really frustrating experience with my regular Vet Clinic, I was referred to Heart and Soul where they were able to see and treat my sweet girl right away. The staff were all incredibly helpful, understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. I want to thank Dr. Rosenberg especially for making Bailey feel SO much better and reminding me that there are people in this world who really care. I appreciate what you and all the staff at Heart and Soul do for the community. You make a difference and while I hope that we do not require more urgent care; you are the only place we will go if we do. Thank you!

Such a great experience for a stressful event. Every interaction, from the front desk staff to the doctors, was reassuring. There were no surprises, and they put me and my pet at ease. They were extremely busy, and still maintained communication & compassion. Fantastic group.

Brought my cat here for an urgent care appointment and couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. I showed up 15 minutes before they opened on a Wednesday and was met at my car with intake forms. After about an hour I was told he would need to be sedated in order to be given a proper examination, so I headed home. I received a call in less than 2 hours with a full report and plan moving forward. Everyone I spoke to was very professional and compassionate. This was not a cheap visit, but I expected as much for the urgent care appointment and sedation. Very happy with my experience. Thank you!

Heart and Soul has a genuinely caring and compassionate staff, who treat their patients and clients with the utmost respect and consideration. My very timid and nervous puppy needed emergency care, and the staff at H&S were incredibly patient, kind, and respectful to her needs and limitations, while giving her excellent medical care. I truly appreciate the hard word ethic and wonderful compassion given to the patients. As a pet parents and client, I felt relieved and more relaxed knowing my shy puppy was in such lovely and careful hands. Thank you to Dr. Rieseberg and Dee to taking the best care of Kenai! Will always refer my own clients to your facility for the best urgent care!

My 10.5 month old puppy had a stick caught in the roof of his mouth wedged I between his back molars. I could not get it out and he began to experience distress. My pups regular vet could not see him and suggested Heart and Soul. We were seen quickly and Moose returned with the stick removed within 20 min. Deb, the vet tech, who cared for Moose was very professional and kind to him and reassuring to me. I highly recommend this vet practice!
