Stayed 1 night for friends wedding held at a nearby barn. Room was was dated, but clean and kept up. Pool and hot tub were nice . View from balcony was awesome! My wife and I had a drink at the bar, only 4 other customers. Bartender and desk staff were friendly and courteous.

Room was dirty. (see photos) Food service was not horrible & un-courteous, with food being way below the quality of which we expected. (see photos) Hotel desk was great.
Nice hidden location at the Green Lake (WI). Property does need work & windows do need a good cleaning.

The rooms were a little dated, and the heater/AC unit in the room was loud which made it difficult to sleep. The beds were also a little firmer than our liking. The lobby area look updated and guest services were pleasant to deal with. Our meals were really delicious though. Kudos to the cooks. There are many levels to try and get yourself turned around. The bar area was good and service was quick. Overall the experience was wonderful and it was great to read up on the history of the area. We'll definitely try and get back there.
My Son and I were Ice fishing Green Lake and found this gem when looking to stay the night. The winter rate is definitely reasonable, love the bar and restaurant area's. Enjoyed the food. People were friendly. Room was comfortable. If I had to share a few items with managment that need attention it would be attention to detail. The walls in the bathroom should be scrubbed. Window drapes should be washed at some point. The smoke detectors definitely need to be replaced as the standard life cycle is 10 years (safety issue). I would not think twice about staying again. Love the history of the resort.
The room was nice. We got the romance package. Chocolates and champagne were delicious. View from the room was gorgeous. The restaurant credit was the best part of the package. Amazing ambiance, staff were so nice, food was amazing. Breakfast wasn't included in the package. The breakfast buffet was not good...over cooked breakfast meats. Egg substitutes were used. A menu was available and I wished I had ordered from the menu. The coffee was weak but good. The view over the lake and the staff were fantastic. They really do have very nice, friendly, personable people working there. I didn't give it a fourth star because they did not clean our room, parking was a challenge, the breakfast was just ok, and I expected more.
Well, it was great while it lasted! Stayed the very last weekend they were open for business. Great folks! Hope it becomes a new spot to stay as it's a beautiful property.
