Its Friday night which means its fish & chip time. Shakespeare's has been on my radar for sometime. I only wish it lived up to my expectations. (I ordered to go.) What do I always say in my reviews, customer service is Number One top priority. How are you greeted and waited on. Upon arriving staff seem not to in a rush. Their attitude was cold. This should have been a clue in what I was about to be served. I have seen the pictures posted and yes the fish looks good. Breading seems ok. But filters are the norm and what I was served was a greasy no flavored cardboard. I maybe bias since growing up on the East Coast but I have had great seafood in many places in this town. And this was not one of them.

****Epic Fail**** I ordered via Doordash today, March 17, 2021, for myself and about 8 other colleagues. We were anticipating some great gastropub food as some of us had tried this establishment prior to Covid. The order was placed around 11:10, with an anticipation delivery time of 60 minutes. This was good with the group. Approximately 50 minutes later, the order was cancelled, no call, no contact, no reason why. Just flat cancelled. I guess they didn't need the 200 bill that we were footing for the food? Perhaps they'll explain the reason on this forum versus contacting me directly.
Love this place, great fish n chips. They have darts, pool table, giant jenga, and trivial pursuit type nights with a huge turnout and great prizes. Friendly staff and a real welcoming felling. Excellent sports bar with multiple games showing, and the best guiness pour ever. Highly recommended.
All I got to say is the BEST Fish and Chips around. Oh gotta give a high five for the Lamb Chops also give them a try you won't be disappointed

Awesome service and good food. Fun place and we made a good friend as well. Prices are good and clean bathrooms and tables.
