I can spend hours as well my hard earned money here but it's well spent. When it comes to leather goods you want to feel the texture and weight in person. The smell of leather is unique. Plenty of hardware to choose from. Very helpful and friendly staff. I am particularly interested in the Saturday classes that gather at the Richmond VA store.

I never write reviews online, but I have to disagree with the previous reviewer. I received very good customer service at this store. I went to Tandy Leather Factory because I wanted to make a leather wallet as a gift. I should mention, I knew absolutely nothing about leather working. When I walked in, a young lady greeted me at the counter, I explained what I wanted to do and she helped me pick out all the tools and materials I needed. She answered all of my (admittedly amateur) questions and two other employees joined the conversation to make sure I got everything I needed. One guy even took out some leather scraps to show me how the tools worked. That's excellent customer service.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to find me the best materials for my project while trying to save me some coin along the way. Will definitely come back again
