Going here cost me 500. I asked for an annual appointment to establish care with a new primary care physician. During the appointment, I let the provider know that I needed a prescription refill (which I get filled annually). The provider also ordered annual/preventive labs. However, I am now being charged 500 because, as I have now been informed, that was not my annual appointment but instead (and I'm being told different things by different people on this) as a medical office visit or an establish care appointment which means that I have to pay for all of my labs and follow-up labs out-of-pocket as this is not covered by insurance. If they had informed me that they require an establish care appointment prior to an annual, I would have waited until my annual to get my annual bloodwork done. The way they have chosen to handle and bill my appointment has led to me being billed out-of-pocket for annual services that should have been covered by insurance but now is not.

Giving it a two star strictly on the clinical staff. I had to call 8 times within 3 days after leaving 6 messages for the clinical line and the message saying they will call you back after two hours... well 3 days later still nobody has called me back and I spoke with the phone room twice and they were literally no help at all but to say “ they are working on it”. The doctors are great but HORRIBLE staff.

I called and made a same day appointment. 20 minutes before my appointment they called to cancel because I hadn’t been there in a while and needed a new patient appointment. So I went to urgent care to address that issue because I couldn’t get a new patient appointment for 2 weeks. I then had to reschedule that appointment due to waiting on a negative covid test result. I finally went for my now 3rd scheduled appointment (almost a month later at this point) and they refused to see me because I had 2 symptoms on the covid screening list that could be from ANYTHING else. Not waisting anymore time trying to get the care that I deserve.

I could not be more lucky than to have found such an incredible doctor, Dr Opolka and her amazing staff with HENRY FORD ALLEGIANCE FAMILY PRACTICE of MASON, MI. So if you're looking for a new doctor or looking to change doctors I highly recommend. VERY FRIENDLY AND PERSONABLE!! Best doctor I've ever seen to date.
