Fantastic time with my family. The wine tasting went great and the presenter was phenomenal. Will be back soon with more friends and family for future events and or outtngs.

I went on a wine tasting expedition here, and beyond the wine the decor of the town was paired perfectly. Walking through this old town I noticed how friendly everyone else was around me. The experience being in an area where grapes are grown locally gave me an nostalgic feeling as if I was back in Tuscany.

The staff at all of the wineries were great. We were looking forward to the tasting menu but were very disappointed in two of food tastings. The most frustrating thing was at the end of our tour. We ended the trail at OakGlenn Vineyards and Winery. On our way to park, two young men were stopping vehicles and trolleys before they made there to the parking area. They were charging 5 a person for a cover for the band that was supposedly playing. We were extremely upset by this as we had already paid our 30 for our ticket (we were a party of 6). We told them that we had Wild Bacon Wine Trail tickets. They told us that we either needed to pay the 5 cover charge or go up, turn around, and leave. That made us even more upset. We parked, went up where the tasting took place, and asked about the cover charge. The people there told us that starting in May, they have a band on Saturday nights and they start charging covers at 4pm. We arrived at 3:45pm. We said that we came here for the Wild Bacon Wine Trail and not the band. The person stood by the 5 cover charge and shared that another Winery on the trail does the same thing (Adam Puchta). When we were at Adam Puchta earlier in the day, we didn't see a sign about a 5 cover charge. Nowhere on our information regarding the Wild Bacon Wine Trail talked about their being cover charges after a certain time. Not only that but the Wine Trail was from 10am - 5pm not 4pm. We talked to several other people who were there for the Wild Bacon Wine Trail about the cover. They were as upset as we were. They told us that they took the trolley to get there and if people refused to pay the 5 cover they were asked to get off the trolley. That was jaw dropping. If we had we known this was going to happen, we would have made OakGlenn one of our first stops. Instead, we ended up being extremely frustrated at the end of our fun day.
