The best place for a craft beer in the south bay! 4 draft beers during happy hour and weekly rotating local draft beers make it the best value you get across the Beach Cities! Ask to sample a few and enjoy a pint or two. Staff was all very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable across all beer and food options. We particularly like the 3 for 2 Runts/Green Runts happy hour deal and Taco Tuesdays (5 for 2 tacos). Haven't had an entree yet but will definitely be back to try based on the good tacos and Runts. Nice and unique indoor and outdoor seating options with old spools as well. All helps create the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of the bar. Also a block off the strand and pier so don't get too many tourists either. And LOVE all the octopus paintings! Great spot and will definitely be going back!

I selected Crafty Minds because they participate in credit card airline miles, and it is a good way to keep miles from expiring. Enjoyed a burger that was cooked just right and very tasty. I only gave four stars because the bun was over toasted and hard around the edges.
I would not recommend this place at all for food. Everyone in the patio waited more than an hour for food or drinks. The service was one of the worst ever. It would of been better to eat at Taco Bell. Ordered 3 items and each one came every 15-20 minutes. The burger had no flavor, fries were cold, a ketchup packet has more sauce in it than what came on the chicken tenders, the Mac & Cheese is served in a cast iron skillet. Get ready for a taste in your mouth that will make you want to wash your mouth out 15 times. The service was horrible, my grandma can move faster than what May the so called manger could. The host/bus boy needs to do something else besides nothing. The beer is probably the only good thing there. So my advice is to pack a bottle of bourbon to kill the bacteria you got from the food.
I’ve passed this place a bunch and their patio looks cool so I’ve been wanting to check it out. My girlfriend and I were told a 30min wait for dinner, we gave our name and number and waited for their call. After hearing nothing we checked back an hour later. We saw two people get a table in front of us and were told that the kitchen had already been closed. Most restaurants are now closed and we are hangry.
Everything was amazing! The service was really great, the tacos were exceptional (small, but in an adorable, tapas way), and I FINALLY found a beer I liked (and I hate beer). I highly recommend the fish tacos and the mango beer!
