I was at this church for three years, and did not leave in that time because of familial pressure to go, but if given the choice I would have left much sooner. While the people who attend this church are very friendly outwardly, I found many of them were quite rude and judgmental when having a prolonged conversation. Passive aggressive comments were made about my appearance multiple times, and I found that many conversations I had were politically charged. The entire church is very closed minded and not accepting unless you behave, look and think the way they do. I found that the sermons reflected this as well, even if they did it more subtly than members of the congregation did. If you fall into the category of person who has very old fashioned views on things and are unwilling to try and understand people who are not like you than I would say go here you'll fit right in.
