I moved into Woodland Park a couple of months back and I have no reason to complain. The apartment is very spacious, there is nice space inside each building and throughout the apartment. The kids park could do with a renovation though. The service has been decent. Hajera has been quite responsive and they do take feedback seriously. Parking hasn't been as bad as I expected coming in. I have never had to park a block away or anything. Best part is neighbors. It is a very friendly neighborhood.

My husband and I moved in in August of 2019. We were not allowed to see the unit prior to move in - it was readily apparent why when we got our keys. The unit was nothing like the model we were shown and told was exactly the same. (I specifically asked so I could take measurements.) For anyone considering this property please note that the layout of the units, the closets, the lighting, the fans, the bathrooms and tubs and nothing like the model they sell you on. The unit was crawling with bugs, the air conditioning did not work (it took over three months of fighting and certified letters explaining the date my lawyer would contact them and when rent would begin to be held in escrow if the matter was not fixed for that to be resolved), the stove didn’t work (in fairness they fixed that one right away,) along with numerous other minor issues. (To date - now that we have finally moved out, they are trying to charge us for blinds that they never fixed from when we moved in.) Beware water billing - they “claim” that the water is billed by individual unit, but refuse to show anyone the individual meter. By their own lease, the water is billed by individual unit. We have months of proof that this is NOT the case, based on 10 months of water bills, that are nearly identical (including one that was for only 3 days) some entire months we were never home, some that three people were home. Nearly identical bills. Water company refers you to woodland park, woodland park says they will “look into it” and categorically denies splitting the bill from the building, but after 10 months of letters, emails, phone calls, and visits to the office with no explanation given, the only possible things left is that they are lying and violating the lease and the law and trying to hide it. I would urge everyone to consider alternative housing options, as nothing about this place can be trusted.

My brother and I have been here the last year and actually hate to go. It’s his apartment but I’m there a lot to help with my niece. I have to say they have been nothing but accommodating since the beginning. They actually gave me a parking pass to help get in and out with no trouble to get my niece off and on the bus. You normally have to be in the lease to get one. Every time we’ve ever called Maggie helped right away. The apartment community has always been clean and felt safe. The pool is beautiful and the grounds are always well kept. Best apartment we’ve seen in years. His lease is coming to an end so before he goes I just wanted to say thank you for helping our family the way you have. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautifully designed, clean, affordable quality place to live in Fairfax county. This is the place! :)

We just moved in this apartment community so far we like it, we found the apartment clean, the community is clean, safe area and great stores and restaurants near by. We also wanted to recongnize the excellent job provided to us by Ebony Young. From the application process until our move in date. We almost dont post reviews but we decided to post this time because she has been just great to us! We had a lot of concerns, questions before moving in, she remained professional , answering our questions. on our move in date We had issues, heavy rain, she waited for us until late 7pm. Thank you so much Ebony.

Apartment is fine but management needs to take a better role in instructing residents how to use the trash compactor and less email and memos regarding visitor parking. On multiple occasions this has been view taking out the trash. Just asking for bugs, mice, and racoons. Update: 7/5/17 They got a nice red sign next to the compactor door with instructions!
