Heron Ridge Associates has changed my life. The assistants, doctors, and therapists are great. They can help you navigate through the crazy world of health insurance and professional choices. This is by far the best company that I have worked with in my mental history of 25 years.

I have been struggling with severe ADD since I was a kid, but now as a mother of two small children, I cannot be so forgetful. I have people who depend on me to be on top of everything. I made the decision to stay on a super low dosage of Ritalin while breastfeeding, but after I finished breastfeeding, I was ready to go all in, QR four times a day. I expressed to dr. Mahhli that I wanted to up my dosage now that I’m done nursing, and he immediately started speculating my intentions. His exact words were “what are you even doing with the medication?” because I was refilling it so sparingly. I was breastfeeding.... and trying to take it as little as possible. Which I stated countless times. Dr, Mahhli does not listen, and he did not ask questions that needed to be asked. He did not care, in the slightest bit, to learn about my struggles, or listen to try and figure out how to help me. He was accusatory and totally Inconsiderate. In the position he is in, he has all the power to help people, and to my disappointment, he is not doing so. Very sad.

Update: I did end up deciding not to go here anymore a few months ago. Between dealing with the hostility at the front desk and the constant issues with billing, it was causing me a lot more stress to go here than the therapy was helping with. A couple months ago I paid my last bill to them, but they are trying to make me pay it twice! If this was just the first time (or just the second, or the third...) that this has happened it would be one thing. But it's not. I called to address this issue, was told I would receive a call back and never did. I would really strongly recommend against going here. It was a huge waste of time, energy, not to mention money. Also, it pretty funny how obviously fake these 5 star reviews are, some of them are even exactly the same review word for word. --------- My therapist and psychologist are very good and professional but the billing department is a mess and paying is always a confusing ordeal. Always get a receipt and be prepared for surprise fees. Most of the front desk staff are professional and polite but there is a staff member who is extremely rude, condescending, and hostile. I find that to be an interesting choice in disposition for someone engaging with people struggling with mental illness. Having to deal with her is enough to make me consider changing therapists and starting this whole arduous process all over again.

Unfortunately I stopped going here. my Therapist was cool I did like her. But at times I thought she was bored . Either her phone was going off or she was yawning when I talked. I won’t be back.
