The minute you walk in you know its going to be bomb Dominican food. I felt right at home you could tell by the smirk on my face. I saw the Dominican people eating, the Country Club and Presidente in the fridge. The music, my beautiful flag, and that accent. Then the food came! And thats it! I was a fan 100%.

By all means it doesnt look high end restaurant but when it comes to authentic Dominican food most of the time the little hole in wall places are 5 stars in my Zagat book. The family owned restaurant really makes you feel like you been transported back to DR. I even think i felt a mosquito bite me in the neck, jk... I had the rabo (oxtail) with habichuelas y arroz blanco ( rice & beans) and my daughter had the Tostones with salami and queso frito.. The rabo was tender it just needed a bit more seasoning but I have been to this place before when visiting Miami and i just think due to the closures due to Covid-19 they didnt let the rabo season enought overnight. But I believe they will be in point once things start moving along... Everthing else from the fritura to the pineapple cake was amazing. My daughter who is the pickiest eater could not get enough of the habichuelas con arroz (rice & beans). This def one of my go to Dominican food spots.

This is the best dominican restaurant that I’ve been to in south Florida (& I’ve been to very many). If you want authentic Dominican food, this is the place to go!! The beans are as if they were made in Dominican Republic!!!! I love love love this place and the customer service is always the best!

I’m very disappointed about my experience at this place, I really went thinking about having breakfast (their famous Mangu) but since it was after 11:00 am we decided to eat lunch, we ordered Cheese empanadas (they brought us chicken empanadas), order Rabo/oxtail & chicken for my husband, the food was old (probably from the day before, it had a good taste (so it was not rotten) but it was not fresh the oxtail was very expensive for a small plate 20.95 & as people started to arrive I realized that they are not concerned about protecting the clients to be expose to COVID as they put people on a table 2 feet from us, the menu it’s on a sheet that looks like the ones you take home, but they put them back for the next customer without cleaning them, they use reusable plastic cups to serve you your drinks and the owner came to our table to greet us without a mask . I was very disappointed cause I really wanted a nice experience with Dominican food.

Ordered takeout from here and it was delicious! I recommend ordering ahead of time since they are taking covid precautions and making everyone wait in their car. The wait was exactly 15 minutes, as promised. I had the Bistec salteado with rice and beans (everything was packed separately).
