Northern Georgia’s best kept secret! Highly recommended! Amazing location, the cutest cabins, sparkling clean, and a host like no other! We went away for a staycation this winter. It was beautiful and relaxing and we already can’t wait to get back for the summer.

We just returned from our second stay at Serenity Cove and have always loved our time there. The homes are comfortable and the view is amazing. Our family has always felt relaxed and have enjoyed the peace that comes from the surroundings. We will be returning later this year for a company retreat!
Place was advertised as being lakefront, having TV service, internet, hot tub, and wifi. The only truth is the main house is lakefront; not the cottages. No TV service, no internet, no hot tub, not lake front cottages. Cleanliness is dependent upon the last person who stayed because renters cleans their own rental (no dishwasher either). Owner had to be off her meds when we stayed because she was very confrontational and unprofessional. Not worth the price. She said, and posted in another review, that we had a free weekend. Well, so far, my credit card has not been credited. Guess she lied about that, too.
Second time at Serenity Cove Lakefront. LOVE IT! Love the views and honestly love the hosts, kind trustworthy and honest. Also, we don't have to interact with anyone else. Whatever reason you are traveling, I personally, want to be left alone. For us, it was a vacation. But, if you need anything, the hosts are awesome. God sent. And if you need help or honest reviews about a business (we had to get our truck serviced otherwise we wouldn't have made it back home) they will help whatever you need. First it was no internet, or tv! Was not told until arrival. Bugs coming up drains in both kitchen, and bathroom. Was not professionally cleaned. Cabins are not waterfront, they are water view. You cant cross No trespassing sign to access water from the cabin itself. We also had to go purchase toilet paper. We got food poisoning from the local steak house called Daniels Steakhouse. They even forgot the dessert. Night was horrible! We left at 11am the next morning. We called Donna, and may I say she lacks any concern nor does she have customer service or hospitality skills. She ask us could we get a DVD for the kids? It was no dvd player, and if it were... please tell me why Donna didn’t mention this When we called after checking in, and learning of no cable or internet. Was highly disappointed given I'm a GA resident, and i was treating family to a new experience. It all worked out however we found a lovely place over the mountain. People were even nice & friendly! PS. Not one dime refunded by Donna, not even an apology. Plenty of beautiful places to stay, so choose carefully! If you have kids... make sure the lake, and “games” are enough for the kids. Donna informed us that should be enough for ours!
The cabins are much bigger on the inside than they look! Great amenities and access to the lake. Pretty property.
