DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PHONE/INTERNET PROVIDER....... Horrible telephone company. The won't you let out of your contract/bill. Circles and circles and more circles. Fees and charges are completely out of line with the current market place for phone services. AGAIN, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PHONE/INTERNET PROVIDER.......

When first got service it was awesome and set up fast. Moved and it takes them 3weeks to transfer service. Customer service sucks. They’re very unprofessional. I work at a call center and if I gave attitude like they do I’d be fired.

My elderly mother-in-law had Windstream (Manchester, IA) as her dish TV and phone service provider for 15 years, no contract involved. In the last couple years, TV outages became more and more frequent and frustrating. Finally cable TV became available in the area through another provider. Windstream was not nice to her, and kept her on the phone for long periods at a time, generally being uncooperative. Eventually I initiated a 3-way phone conversation with her and Windstream, and got an agreement for a switch-over date. Today the switch-over date came, and Windstream again kept her on the phone to the point of exasperation, before finally agreeing to terminate her service. The WIndstream representatives dealt with were unhelpful to the point of being rude.
