To be honest, we were hoping this day would never come...but it did, and it was already decided where Hogan would rest when his time on earth was finished. The details of a funeral are difficult to say the least, and one thing that can make it bearable is the beautiful individuals God gives you along the way. The Lord did just that in trusting our precious treasured gift, Hogan into the hands of Carita and Diane. When I say, we had to do NOTHING but be there, I am not downplaying at all what was expected of us. The preliminaries were worked out with our funeral director...the day of the ceremony was flawless thanks to Diane...and the final details summed up perfectly with understanding and compassion, made this entire process come to a seamless rest! Yes, the grounds are breathtaking...that's one of the reasons we picked the location. It mimicked the life Hogan would have been enjoying while here on earth, water, trees, walking trails, and an over all serene setting. But those are the cosmetics of the final destination...it was the individuals welcoming us that gave us peace about his final resting place. And then once your precious one is secured safely in his selected space, there are some final details to cover in the following days. I had no desire to visit the questions and the answers once again, but with warm tender words spoken, Diane helped us to finalize the plans. Now it is finished, and my husband, Hogan, is in the Father's hands...and his place on earth being managed by compassionate people that offered to walk me to his rest, and sit with me anytime I visit. This is the overwhelming compassion and tenderness you will find at Higginsville Missouri Veterans Cemetery! Thank YOU, you made the most difficult day of our lives memorable in a breathtaking way!

What a very beautiful and fitting Memorial to Missouri veterans! Really is a beautiful place and quite moving when you're here. Everything is very well maintained the headstones are kept in great shape in the park itself is just kept wonderfully well. Very beautiful spot in a fitting Memorial.

A Beautiful resting place, well kept and groomed. My husband and brother are laid to rest there visiting them is pleasant and somewhat private.
