As a former landscape company owner, I trust them completely. The staff is very knowledgeable and can make great recommendations if you don't know what you want/need. Their materials and supplies are of great quality. They can handle everything from large material deliveries to skid steer and excavator work. I use them whenever possible and recommend them to everyone who needs a service or product that they offer.

We have the same sandy dirt that others have complained about. Looked good upon arrival. When dried, it was an obvious sand/dirt mix. Now, after several rainy days, it almost looks like a sandy beach. You get what you pay for I guess. They should not sell this as any kind of topsoil or useable dirt. Nothing will grow. It’s just filler. It also gets very solid. hard to till. Update: I will say that the town of Munster uses Krooswyk, and they seem to get good results from the sandy dirt. It just does not look like topsoil.

Ordered black dirt. Receipt said black dirt. It wasn’t black dirt. there was a LOT of sand which hardened and I can’t dig it up easily. My yard looks like a beach. I complained. The man in charge was very angry that I called to complain and said it was good dirt and he’s not going to do anything about it. He was very rude. Will never call them again

DO NOT BUY BLACK DIRT from this company. We’ve purchased 14.5 yards of black dirt for a garden bed and to reseed our lawn. That’s 500 worth of dirt plus two delivery fees. Shortly after receiving the dirt it rained and the next day the dirt looked like sand (when it rains the dirt and sand separates) which tells you that it was mixed with big amounts of sand. Now after spending over a 1000 for dirt, grass seeds, NOTHING HAS GROWN . I’ve called the company to ask if their black dirt is mixed with sand they put me on hold, then the lady told me the guy I needed to speak with will not be in till Monday (I called on a Monday, so he’ll be in in a week) will get back to me. It’s been 2.5 weeks and no one got back to me. Waste of money, time, effort. I would go somewhere else if you’re looking for quality black dirt. Disappointing.
