60035 USPS continues to mis-deliver my mail (and neighbor's), but not as often as the past several years. The new Postmaster at 60035 seems to me to take complaints seriously, and is responsive. Time will tell if the 60035 USPS changes for the better. I have not had as bad an experience as some of these reviews, but it is not as good as it was before all the mail-carriers who cared, retired. The bar has definitely been lowered.

Went to the Highland Park post office today to mail a cell phone. While waiting in line, I noticed that a man in line ahead of me was wearing his face mask so it barely covered his top lip. When he got to the counter, he spent many minutes with the clerk who did not ask him to put the mask on correctly. In fact, the mask started falling down and ended up as a chin mask. Great. As the customer was leaving, I asked him to cover his nose, and he did. A customer in line thanked me for speaking up. I ended up with the Big Flower Lady clerk at the next counter, and complained that the other clerk did not ask him to put his mask on correctly. Her words were \We don't police the customers\ and boy, was she terse. How difficult is it to take COVID seriously and ask customers to comply? I take care of my parents in their 90s and I would rather not expose them to the virus, because they would not survive. Big Flower Lady said she would speak with the other clerk (who I'm sure could hear me anyway since we were only a few feet away). My perception is that the clerks don't give a damn, they act like they don't like working there, and the reviews generally are poor for good reason. They sure seem like it's a burden to help protect the health of the people in that small space. Not going in there again.

Our mailman is terrific. He’s constantly watching out for things and he saved us from identity theft about two years ago. He noticed that my mail was being forwarded and asked if I was leaving town and forwarding but I had only put it on a temporarily hold. Someone falsely forwarded my mail.

I live in Highland park for 30 years. So far Post office proved good service. We had the same man delivering our mail for many years. he was nice, polite and it was just a pleasure to work with him. Recently he retired and everything changed. Three days ago i place parcel near entrance of my house and it is still there. I called PO and they promised to pick it up. I am very sick now and can't drive to PO. Called them again. it was 5 mins before they close and no one answered phone. I even don't know who is our postman. They earn good money, has good benefits and pension after retirement. They service is horrible. Shame!!!
