I had outpatient surgery at Highland Park Hospital and my experience was very positive. My surgeon, Dr. Robert Rosen, and his team were excellent. From the moment I arrived at the hospital, the staff was professional, caring and kind. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Steven Koppel, and Dr. Rosen worked together to make the surgery and recovery as comfortable for me as possible. I'm very grateful, not just for the positive outcome of my surgery, but for the quality of care I received.

I was sent to the ER by my doctor, to be evaluated and admitted having acute diverticulitis, for IV fluids and antibiotics. I checked in at noon, was seen soon after, by triage. FIVE HOURS later, I decided to leave. It wasn’t the amount of waiting time, it was the fact that NOT ONE PERSON, ie; nurse, volunteer, aide, security, checked on me. All having seen me every time they called another patient back. I had had six painful episodes during my wait and had nothing to sip or drink in the five hours, as two others enjoyed cups of ice offered by assistants. After learning the lack of attention in the emergency room, I began to doubt the care within. I will NEVER RETURN, nor would I EVER recommend this hospital to a friend or family member. Also, I was APPALLED that a nurse stood and spoke with a patient who insisted on wearing his mask under his chin. NEVER TOLD TO MASK UP. I was SICKENED by this.

I had my first and hopefully last MRI today. I can't say enough about the GREAT staff in the Radiology Department. Kasia, Kayla, Karen, George, Josie... They made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. Their compassion, concern, kindness, professionalism was far above par. I dreaded this for DAYS and they made it a piece of cake!

Horrible. Failed to communicate CT scan results, resulting in me having unnecessary surgeries and years of hell. Staff are complete morons, I'd only go here if there were no other hospitals available.
