Great boat ramp. Close to several state parks. This area is great for kayaking, canoeing, or small boats. It's shallow in a lot of areas here, so it wouldn't be good to try to get a big boat in the water around here. You can also fish on the banks, or just explore. Some people even swim and bathe here.

River is a little low but launching small craft kayak or smaller should be a breeze great swimming and the fishing wasn't bad mostly red bellies and bluegill a few catfish was caught in the half pound to two pound range. On this day I was using glow worms purchased from greens marine on hwy 90 in Lakecity Fla. Great location for a small family outing high springs located 5 mins from the boat ramp. Tight lines and god bless
