Beautiful storefront to a beautiful museum. We didn't get to visit the museum but we walked around the gift shop area for a long long time! The prices seem reasonable and the selection is amazing! You can find amazing rocks and artifacts here.

Everything Prehistoric is THE best gift shop in the Black Hills. Unique items you can't find anywhere else. Educational toys. And best of all, gorgeous, beautiful, jewelry. I love this shop and The Black Hills Geological Institute's fossil display. A must see when visiting the Hills.

Fun place to tour! The museum is located through the gift shop and happens to be the home of the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research which means you will see some pretty amazing displays from digs in the Black Hills as well as other areas. Our family loved the museum and stayed here quite a while!

Worth the trip in definitely! So much to look at and learn about! Gift shop is nice too, everyone was friendly and offered to help!

Tiny, fully packed dino museum with an amazing array of minerals; attached is a gift shop of even greater size. It just barely skates by as being worthy of the price of admission.
