If I could give this place zero stars I would simply based on how incredibly rude the store worker was. When you walk in it’s a bit overwhelming because there are SOOOOO many fabric choices (which was GREAT) however it wasn’t labeled nor organized very well at all. There appeared to be only one worker the Saturday we went, an Older black gentleman, very annoyed by us asking what type of fabric we were looking at ( we would ask every time we say a roll we really liked that had no label on it). He basically told my sister and I we could leave and do our research then come back when we know what we want to ask for...mind you we told him upfront we were designing a line and wanted to get a feel for different fabrics. There were definitely some beautiful choices in there but due to not being labeled, not getting answers to what they were, and the terrible customer service overall...I wouldn’t even drop a penny on the ground in this store. This is a great stop if you enjoy rude customer service, no labels on majority of the products, being treated like questions regarding the products are an inconvenience, and you walk in having an expertise in fabric to where you can identify any type without labeling.

I love the prices and the fabric selection. I even get notions from there. Mrs. Jennifer is extremely helpful so I urge you to please be patient and wait for her help if you need assistance with something other than getting fabric cut. Otherwise, everyone is pretty cool and cheerful (I'm there a lot!). There is absolutely no photography in this store! I will stress, respect goes a long way in this establishment. Check them out. Paradise just might pleasantly surprise you. I've gotten beautiful prints here. Here's one I've recently used for a half circle skirt.

This store has a large variety of merchandise in a small space so be patient when you visit. G Street Fabrics used to be like this on F Street NW. The beautiful fabrics bring out the best creations from a fashion designer, and a top notch seamstress. l will be a customer as long as they remain open.
