I was surprised that their machetes were so expensive (ranging from almost 20 to over 50), none being of great quality. They have mid-range tents for prices average to that category. Probably the best place in Hilo to get coats and jackets, they have a large selection of those. Overall I wasn't impressed with the selection of camping goods and related items but it's an interesting place to check out.

Nice selection of mostly anything for outdoors and and around the house . Hawaii is in the rainy season and these rubber boots are around 20
This place has everything necessary for survival. It's wonderful as a parent to have access to affordable, durable clothes for my kids. Kitchen goods are a treasure trove as is the tools department. The nicest people work there, always a warm family welcome.
Tim is amazing and hooked us up with fuel for our camp stove even though it was the end of the day right before a holiday. He really went the extra mile to help us out and made our backcountry trip possible. Could not recommend this store more highly! Just the kind of aloha you hope to find on the big island. Thank you, Tim!
