If you don’t mind paying 100 /- off season for a five hour round with no one moving things along on a poorly manicured course then this is your place. Decent layout. One beautiful par 3 taking you out to the water but pretty pedestrian besides that. Sadly a typical Heritage Golf experience. Spend a little more and play in Sea Pines, better courses, better guest experience.

Played here in late January and I’m glad I chose this course. Mainly what brought me to this course were the reviews and it’s rating! And they were right! The restaurant the drinks free range balls, I was very happy I chose this course and will definitely be back.

My 1st time in HHI. Played Oyster Reef, Shipyard and Port Royal & Shipyard. OR was best of three. A little disappointed in condition of fairways (it's winter I get it). Greens were great. Best layout of the three

Great layout, friendly staff, and AMAZING food. I wanted to stay there for dinner after our round but got overruled. We played after a ton of rain, and the course is primarily Bermuda, so the fairways were pretty bare. I’m sure in-season it’s a great place, but off season if you travel here to play on green grass you’ll be disappointed.

Fun course in great condition. The greens are slower than expected, and lots of gravel in the bunkers. Make sure the greens are rolled before you play or you'll leave a lot short.
