I visited the temple couple of times before pandemic and once after the pandemic. Today had a weird experience with the management. So, with a plan to visit the temple, I called to temple to check the timings for Sunday evening. The lady who picked my call mentioned, temple is only open for devotees who took appointments. So, I thought it was for safety and was ready to ask for an appointment and she continues saying , the appointment is mandatory which includes “Archana”(a special prayer on devotees name) and will cost 11. I was not interested in it and was trying to enquire if I can just visit the temple for just praying (usual purpose) and I got an answer saying “No”. I was puzzled and wanted to confirm again and asked so temple is not open for normal prayers? , same answer “No” I should not say like this but it was very commercial and definitely doesn’t sound fair to restrict a temple entry only with an entry ticket payment of 11. If it was even due to pandemic, the appointments should have a hard bound on number of devotees attending the temple with in allotted time slots and should be managed accordingly but not by simply demanding them to pay to pray. Also just to add, my statements are not because I cannot afford to pay but rather are out of a concern and weird confusion of the management style with which a Hindu temple is being run here. Not sure what are the intentions of management.

The temple is good. Its small but built very traditionally. There was dinner(prasadh) from punjabi community on the day we went. Overall it has good atmosphere. Willing to go in the daytime next.
