What a stunning wedding/event venue! With views of the Charleston harbor, you can't beat this venue! I've had the pleasure of photographing a few weddings here at the Historic Rice Mill and each time I love it even more than I did. The staff is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the views never get old. If you are engaged and looking for your wedding venue, I highly recommend taking a tour of the Historic Rice Mill!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception on 3/14/20 at the Historic Rice Mill. Everything turned out perfectly with the ceremony outside along the water with our roughly 120 guests. We heard tons of compliments about the venue, the views, the food and staff. Eve and her staff were wonderful on the day of the wedding, making sure the bride and groom had everything they needed including food and drinks, constantly checking in. The venue itself is beautiful on the marina with its water and bridge views, and it has quite a charm and is very intimate inside. Good Food Catering is the option you must go with for food at this venue, but that's not a bad thing because they had fantastic food and drinks. In particular, the bacon wrapped dates, ceviche, she crab soup, and mac&cheese bar were all hits! You must at least use a day of wedding planner. We used Alyssa Gore with Stunning & Brilliant Events who was amazing and made everything stress free on the day of and all throughout our planning experience! Words cannot explain how happy we are that we chose HRM as our wedding venue!!!! Tristan & Kate literally made everything so stress free for us & we got the wedding of our dreams!!! The food, the views, the space is just perfection & our guests enjoyed everything about it!!!! Can we get married again? Lol!

The Old Historic Rice Mill is one of my absolute favorite wedding and event venues in Charleston! As a full time professional photographer in town, I have the privilege of working in some amazing places. The Rice Mill is one I ALWAYS look forward to working in! The staff is great, the rustic patina of those old brick walls is gorgeous, and the views over the Ashley River with the setting sun in the background are absolutely stunning!!!

Awesome venue. I was here for a dinner rehearsal for a friend's wedding. Gorgeous view and excellent food. The inside of the building had a nice dining area with a bar and dance floor. Great view of the ocean and some sick yachts.
