Fantastic museum telling the story of the history of this great town! Great displays that rotate, showing historic artifacts from throughout the towns history, from it's founding in 1808 until present day. A must stop on your visit, no matter if you're just visiting for the weekend or a lifelong resident of Travelers Rest. Knowledgeable docents are ready and willing to answer any questions you may have on your visit. Great selection of books to purchase detailing the history of Travelers Rest!

Great view of Paris Mountain
Really small place jam packed with old South racist memorabilia. If you want to see exactly what it was like to be inbred, racist, and toothless; stop on in for a lesson. Thank goodness TR is being cultured with amazing restaurants and shops from educated people. The best thing to happen to TR is having educated transplant families settling in town to develop the dust bowl town TR used to be.
A really cool place. If you grew up in or near TR, check it out! They change displays often so there is always something new to see. You can purchase books that tell stories about people and the area of TR. Check it out the next time you are in the area.... It's not far off the Swamp Rabbit trail.
Just went by to stop in. It's closed due to Covid-19 for the time being. Hope to visit when it's open again.
