Chad and his crew installed a screen around our covered porch last year. He promised us that the screen material was impenetrable. At first we were pleased with the work. But within a few months we noticed several holes starting to form. Chad said this was probably because of construction next door so did not fix it. Since then, we have noticed small perforations all over the screen walls. Our screened in porch is not even a year old. We have called numerous times and have received no response from him to address this. I do not recommend using HMC.

I took bids from multiple contractors to demo our existing 8' x 33' deck and 8' x 20' overhang. It was in horrible shape, and (worse) had been anchored directly to our house by the prior owners. Chad and HMC were the most reasonable bid for the scope of work and my wife and I could not be more pleased with the results! Demo took only a couple days, and (once the construction crew was assembled), construction took less than a week, including the new roof. The new dimensions are 14'x20', and it's a fantastic living space. My girls love being outside on it. And, to boot, I've gotten compliments not only from neighbors, but from two other contractors who have come to my place for unrelated jobs. Those pros complemented the quality construction, especially the double edging and the blocking under the support beams. Go with HMC and you will be so happy you did!
To experience an important, much needed and wanted project done for you, and to conclude with complete satisfaction is such a pleasure. HMC Contracting recently constructed a deck for us. There are not enough positive words in Webster’s Dictionary to describe this company’s commitment to its work and the people they employ! HMC Contracting, from the beginning, was highly professional in every aspect of our plan. On his initial visit Chad was thorough in his review, offering ideas, choices and advice. We were impressed then delighted when our agreement came to fruition. Along the way there was good communication with him and he gladly answered any questions. The actual construction was amazing. James and Stewart were our builders. You will not encounter two more skilled, diligent and friendly people. They were attentive to detail - every part of the deck was fashioned perfectly. Also, they were engaging as it was enjoyable having them present. On a light note they were quite adept at conversation while never slowing in their work. It was interesting viewing the deck built and we were frequent observers. HMC Contracting sets the bar high. You receive professionalism and the highest quality finished product. While looking to remodel my 25 year old deck, make it more modern and also add a \screened room\, I found HMC Contracting on YELP. Although I had a couple other contractors that I was considering, HMC's work seemed to be a cut above the rest. Chad came out, I discussed my desire for how I wanted my deck and he made suggestions. It was decided to tear down the 25 yr old deck and rebuild from scratch. Although it was in January, and we had a lot of rain, they went to work immediately. His crew was always on time, and provided no unnecessary excuses for why the weather would hinder their progress. HMC Contracting completed my deck and screened room in and extremely timely fashion. The finished product met and exceeded my expectations. HMC Contracting is a top notch builder that to me is worth every penny and then some. All that I can say about the finished product is \WOW\, and that is the same sentiments of my neighbors !!!
I reviewed HMC on yelp as well, but I really wanted to post here as well for those considering any kind or deck work. I have hired many different contractors in the past, and I have always found it difficult to find someone with reliability and professionalism who also does quality work. Chad made working with HMC extremely easy, and his communication never made me feel out of the loop as my deck work was being done. HMC made my deck look incredible, and all of the work happened extremely quickly. I would certainly recommend HMC to any home or business owner looking to improve or build and outdoor deck or patio area.
