Full Hook ups. Large Level spots. You do not feel like you are right on top of your neighbors. Crushed gravel parking spot & table area looks like they raked it right before we arrived. Very well maintained. Clean bathrooms & showers. Close to Hobe Sound & Jupiter. Lots of biking areas. (Helmets required) Staff & volunteers are very friendly & helpful. Definitely going back.

It's a nice park, good to take sun and walk. it have a bike trail, lake for kayak. You can go with your dog but have to be well behaved (no barking, growling to people or other animals) have to be on leash no larger than 6 feet long.

Jonathon Dickson State Park has been a frequently visited place from my past. I remember when the canoe in which my daughter Millie, an ex-husband and myself tipped over. As soon as I went into the water I opened my eyes to locate my daughter. The water was jet black and I couldn't find her. My ex suddenly brought her to the surface and the ordeal was dramatic but quite an experience. At the time my daughter could not swim but what are the odds a person who helped us was a swim instructor for children? They guided us to the mangroves turned the canoe upright. There was absolutely no where to stand. This person kept my daughter calm throughout the ordeal because all three of us were in the water. I'm sharing this experience so others are aware it's an amazing experience. We all had on life vests. The safety was first. I frequently went back multiple times after the incident and many times alone. This is a national treasure right in our backyard. Your visit supports conservation and State Parks keeping nature and it's eco system safe for generations to come. Support your State Parks. I know about the camp grounds and the cabin tour. At least I was adventures enough to explore. Few individuals of color even challenge themselves to seek out the beauty of nature. Because most can't swim and it seems intimidating. Well I love the ambiance and hope more will embrace what is right here for our appreciation and beyond amazing to enjoy.

Walked the white trail, barefoot! This park is huge, with many trails! The white trail is nearly 9 miles, some parts were under water. Loved it! Recommend!
