Lorraine was an excellent guide through the selection and design process. She knew just how to balance giving expertise, balancing budget & design, and giving space for our own decision making. We felt supported through the entire process from start to finish. We had planned to shop around at a few stores but after meeting Lorraine we were confident we were in the right place. When folks came by to measure, they walked us through to explain their notes so that we would understand what our options were and why. When Jose came by to do the installation he noticed we had a tall dog and made sure to place the chains in a place where he wouldn’t risk getting tangled in them. Every part of the process was thoughtful and thorough.

We recently moved into our new apartment - just happened to be at the beginning of the pandemic - and had our blinds done with The Shade Store. I cannot say enough good things about working with this company! They are fantastic. The quality of their blinds and their customer service is exceptional. Also how they handled the installation process during this Covid-19 pandemic was exceptional. I have to give a shout out to our point person Katherine Siano because she is absolutely top rate at her job. She helped us from the moment we walked into their Hoboken New Jersey store months ago all the way through to completion in Jersey City heights. She helped us pick the type of blinds and colors that worked for us and guided us the entire time and was quick to respond to our needs and questions. We would recommend The Shade Store and Katherine Siano to anyone!
We are so very pleased with the beautiful and high quality shades. The help in selecting materials and hardware that Lorraine Gaudreau gave was invaluable! The shades fit perfectly in our home reduce the heat load and most importantly still allow us to enjoy of view. I cannot recommend The Shade Store or Lorraine enough.

We worked with Cat at the beginning of 2020 to do all of the window treatments in our new home and they turned out great. It was easy to work with her and since I wasn't really sure what I was looking for it was helpful that she made great suggestions based on my limited initial input. She also provided multiple quotes so we could make the best decision for our family financially. When we found out we were having a baby and needed black out shades for the nursery we immediately went back to her and have had success in ordering those now as well. Can't wait to get them!

As my mother and I entered the store we were greeted with professionalism and kindness by Catarine. She was very welcoming when she addressed our concerns. She was patient, understanding, informative, and lovely. I cannot wait to work with her on my project!!!
