Such great service and we adopted our Sylver same day. That cats are well cared for and are free to roam as they please which I liked. We can't wait to get our new baby home to adjust, thank you so much for a quick and easy adoption.

I absolutely loved this animal rescue! We first did the foster to adopt program to make sure the kitten would get along with our puppy. I absolutely love the way Hoffmeyer handled everything and how accommodating they are. I highly recommend this place. They have a very large variety of cats and kittens.
Adopted a lovely cat from this privately owned shelter. Cats there are allowed to roam free and customers may come and go freely as well. I enjoyed my experience very much and am happy with the cat I adopted.
We just adopted a sweet kitten, Kilo, from Hoffmeyer Animal Rescue. If you are looking for a special cat or kitten then this is the place to visit. We visited several times to play with the cats. It is a very big and clean room with at least 10 cat trees, many toys, lots of room to run and play, many bowls of food and water for the cats. Sick cats are kept in the back restricted room. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The cats and kittens are healthy and happy, and have a lot of social interaction. There are many kinds of cat beds and spots for the older cats to nap. The big room has a huge window to let in the sun and the outside scenery while the cats climb on or sleep on the many cat trees. They offer some shots, neutering, micro- chipping. We are very happy with our new kitten, and plan to visit again. We might get another cat if we visit too often. It is a fun place. The cats are happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!
We adopted this sweet boy from the rescue. They take great care of the cats they have. They do everything they can to help save as many cats as possible. Highly recommend adopting from them.
I had to wait for what I wanted but im satisfied with how I was communicated with and the staff was very friendly. I love my kitty
We adopted our 12 week old kitten 3 weeks ago and these past 3 weeks have been draining. To start, our kitten look healthy when we chose her and was only able to pick her up 3 days later. Within those 3 days, her health declined drastically. I called in to check up on her the day before her pick up and I was told she was doing just fine. Perfectly fine. The next day upon pick up she was in serious shape. Her eyes were swollen shut with discharge and swelling. She was sneezing and coughing. The director of this organization told me to use some holistic medication as it could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. Luckily, I rushed her to the vet 12-14 hours later. She was diagnosed with the URI and conjunctivitis. It was so bad she could not even open her eyes and I had to take her to a specialist. This diagnoses has lasted 3 weeks. Thankfully, she has recovered from the infection 5 vet appointments later. However, 2 days ago she has been excessively itching her ears so I took in again for the 6th visit and she was given medication for ear mites. Even though, the rescue has NO EAR MITES stated in her chart. Obviously wrong. Now, she is being treated for mites as well as tapeworm (which I noticed in her feces and had to take her in for her 7th vet visit in 3 weeks). We will not give up on her as we love her and grew a huge bond nursing her back to health. But, we are out around 800 in 3 weeks from the visits and medication. And we are young college students that do not have a lot of money at all. It has been a very tiring and nerve racking experience. The rescue has you sign documents before adoption to protect themselves from legal action. I only wish that they would have been more truthful that day I spoke to them and recommend to take precautions and be aware of what you may be getting yourself into when adopting from here.
Love going there....so many cats & kittens to see !!! Got my Cinnabon from here.
