Fabulous litte spot at Marshall, Ca. Parking is tight. So get their early. Oysters were sweet. My favorite are the bbq oysters. Crab was so good. Also enjoyed the Smoked salmon salad, there were some bones in it. Enjoyed it overall. They play a good selection of music. Bring a hat, there is plenty of sunshine. You can make your reservation online, I believe 30 days out. Our waitress was the best! We will definitely be back.

Went to Hog Island for oysters around Thanksgiving and had an amazing experience! We had to wait in line once we were there, but it was totally worth it for the awesome service and delicious oysters. The employees go above and beyond, it’s a beautiful drive to get to a beautiful location, and there’s nothing quite like getting oysters from the source! We were having such a good time that we picked up some clams to take home in addition to oysters and they were spectacular steamed in some white wine! Thank you, Hog Island—you made our holiday perfect!

Freshest oysters I l’ve ever taste with a very reasonable price. We bought dozens of extra small, small and medium sized oysters. The small and extra small ones are good to eat raw. The small ones are sweeter than the extra smalls. Medium sized ones are pretty meaty. They also have ice, lemon, sauce, bread and cheese available. Overall very good experience and really good oysters! Remember to bring your cooling bag or container!

Bring your own shucking knife, otherwise your only option is to buy their marked up one (20). There is also zero seating open right now... its just a bag of raw un-shucked oysters to-go.

Not a decent service experience. Reservasion is required if you want a seat. We ordered a dozen oyster, bread. But she only heard 6, no bread. Crab is 38 for one. We had 18 oysters in total, 1 crab, 6 bbq oysters,1 beer for 140. Btw I'm surprised that they didn't have clam chowder. Good view. But probably won't come back.
