Great room great atmosphere kinda of like small town living. Everyone was super nice. Had coin laundry which was helpful after being on the road for over a week. Only a couple of blocks from the walk of fame. Absolutely would recommend to anyone

area sensible is outstanding, however the cleanliness turned into simply negative. The room smelled like genuinely sturdy cigarettes, after laying on the bed we began itching at the returned so we used our towels to cover the bed and we also slept on our baggage for no longer to use the pillows. For this charge i could’ve stayed on hotel with higher condition.
I would definitely suggest staying here, especially if you want a nice romantic view of the city or if you're looking for a hip-trendy place to stay in downtown to hang out and party. Its really a great location, and there's a lot to do in that area. Definitely booking another trip!
I liked this place a lot... They've got a good vibe going on there. Will probably be REALLY fun to stay there POST-covid, whenever the heck that is... I hope to check it out again next year.
Why so many non-5 stars review for this place?? Dang it deserves it. In LA / free parking with hosteling is amazing. Great crowd for young people. from diverse background. From European / Asian to Africans.. open minded people assembles here. Location is great near the farmer market where you can do stuffs etc.. When I was there they had amazing Christmas decoration.. I loved my stay there. Rooms are not big but hey who goes to LA to sleep !!!
I was here about ten years ago and upon returning I checked my credit card bill - they'd charged my card TWICE! Scum. It was deliberate because there had been very mild disagreement in the office upon checking in/out as I recall, prior to my handing over of my card. I'll never forget you guys x x
Location wise is great, but the cleanliness was really poor. The room smelled like really strong cigarettes, after laying on the bed we started itching at the back so we used our towels to cover the bed and we also slept on our bags for not to use the pillows. For this price i could’ve stayed on hotel with better condition. A positive point is the cordiality of the reception staff.
This place has got gumption! This certainly was the vibe hotel. Needed a place to sleep after a long road trip and it exceeded all my expectations! Super affordable for being in the middle of Hollywood and very safe. Me and the boys will be staying again, especially just to see the friendly groovy man at the front desk.
