Confusing check in instructions. Room was not clean on arrival. No blankets on beds, just a sheet. Thermostat/ac/heat did not function well (not able to control room temp), shorts in lighting, after a fire alarm went off, someone entered our room, turned off the water and left our door unlocked. Front desk was left unattended for long periods of time which was inconvenient considering you had to get a special key from the front desk to access the gym. Beach access was awesome. Pool was good. Proximity to decent running path was nice. Some doors randomly wouldn’t permit access with key fob.

The apartments are nice. The location is very convenient. Beach is right near the complex. The pool is gorgeous. Staff was polite and nice. The gym was a bit small but cozy. There was a small problem with ventilation which caused an unpleasant smell from time to time at apartment (might just be a unit problem) but otherwise a great place and experience.
Probably one of the worst experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived I was treated indifferently by valet, front desk, MANAGEMENT who wouldn't be clear with me on my stay and what I had to with parking, etc. I felt like no one was decent there enough to be clear with me on what I had to do and where I had to go. When speaking to Ms. Sierra in Management and the other lady there who's name I was not able to catch but she is short, has frizzy hair, and speaks Spanish, I was trying to clarify between Ms. Sierra and the owner of the apartment what I had to for the parking situation, Ms. Sierra would not let me listen to what the owner was telling me through the phone, and demanded me to step out of her office to finish my conversation, so I decided just to say goodbye to the owner over the phone quickly instead of having to step out of the office and in a matter of seconds, the other manager called security on me because I wouldn't step outside the office to say goodbye on the phone. Later, when leaving the office I heard the lady who called security on me call me \fresca\ in Spanish, which is derogatory, I felt very offended and mistreated. I've stayed in so many places hotels, beach apartments, etc. all over florida and this the WORST place I've stayed in, its also dirty, they obviously need to put money into new employees for better customer care/ HR and renovations into the building. There are better and nicer places to stay at where you will be treated nicely and with more respect.
The Tides located in Hallandale Beach, Florida has to be the Most disgusting places ever! Poor and rude management, filthy conditions. Will be reporting to the Broward and Hallandale Beach Health Department on the conditions of this place. It should be condemned! Stay away from this place. It deserves 0 Stars
The Tides is the worst managed building, extremely poorly managed, rude management, laundry room is filthy never cleaned, garbage bin backed up every day, complaints are ignored. Will be reporting to the Broward and Hallandale Beach Health Department on the conditions. Do not stay at the Tide's. I will not and cannot recommend this place at all. Worst experience ever!
