The fact that I have so much to say about this place and I've never slept there should speak some volumes. I had been in contact with them about possible tenancy for a little over a month now but the dates couldn't get lined up. I fielded several calls about lower and lower (and lower) rents with all these specials thrown in (I would like to believe its because it is harder to rent to folk in these trying times...but now I'm starting to think its them) and finally during one middle-of-the-day call I deigned to apply but not before ensuring that my move-in date (which was over a month away) would be okay and that the application fee would be waived (they were waiving application fees) Mariana in the office assured me it was. I applied and got a pre-approval (??) email from Yesenia letting me know they needed my paystubs and such. This email had a move in date a month earlier than the date I CONFIRMED TWICE WITH THE OFFICE. I said whatever and sent it over immediately. Didn't hear anything. Called three days later. She said she would call me back later that day. Didn't hear anything. Waited another three days. Called back, no one answered. They have my name on caller id so I called from restricted and immediately got an answer. I told them I was going with another apartment and reconfirmed my application fee would be returned to me. Yesenia tells me no because I'm not moving in. Let me note a few things: This isn't denoted in the email giving the offer I was told multiple times on the phone I would get this back. Why did it take 8 days of no contact and calling from restricted to get someone on the phone? If they were looking for someone to move in earlier and keep me on standby why wasn't that communicated? Currently examining my legal options but just wanted everyone to know about this place. Bait and switch tactics like this are why people are so apprehensive of Los Angeles properties.

I've been living here for 3 years. Currently getting priced out due to price increase, even though we're in the middle of a pandemic. Also a new 8 story building is being erected next door, which is totally blocking the once beautiful view we had of downtown Hollywood. The office manager Jen Runyon has been fantastic though. She is always willing to help, when you lock yourself need something replaced or fixed.

I've been living here for just about a year now, and the property manager, Jen, has been incredibly responsive to tenant requests, she's been informative, and has been awesome about organizing community events on our roof. The reason I write this review, however, is that my room mate passed away recently. As we slowly come to terms with his death, Jen has been a wealth of emotional support in addition to being helpful in figuring out our next move. I am very grateful for her.

I have been living here for 8 years now and had various management companies and managers over the property. Leonardo has been the best management company we've ever had and never made things feel neglected. Jen has been by far the best manager this place has ever had with her breakfast and other gatherings for residents (which we can't do because of covid right now but I am sure they'll be back!), if she ever leaves, I probably will, too. A new management company took over recently and I am not very impressed with them right now and their handling of things during the transitional process.
