As a parent I feel this it was the best decision I have ever made to bring my son to attend Westlake Preparatory School & Academy. Because of Westlake his self esteem went up and he has been a very successful at college since he graduated. I highly recommend this school.

PLEASE do your research before sending your child to this school. It is a school for children who have severe special needs. I wish I knew that going in. They said that they had special needs classes, but they didn't say that majority of the students need help and are mixed in with the other students. Visit several times and get the criteria for each class of what your child will be learning before you commit to this place. Your child will like it because they don't really ever give homework, but when did you ever not get homework as a kid? They will pull the covers over your eyes at this place before it is too late for your child to get their education back. Also, the teaching staff is always changing. Look into which teachers actually have teaching degrees! Do your research on the owners as well as the history of this school. Read all of the 1 star reviews, because they are right one the money. Anyone can create a e-mail and rate as many 5 star reviews all they want. I cannot stress enough for you to do your homework before you even start thinking about this school.
This is by far the most personal and educational facility in the area. It started out as a small family owned business with a passion for children and has grown into a stable school for a child's education. I love the personal feeling and touch this school has to offer. The staff TRULY cares about each child's success and will work with parents to get them where they need to be. They also have uniforms that are not super expensive and the children love. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who asks. I have had nothing but success their.
There is no such thing as a perfect school or perfect people. We all start off small and work our way to success. Success is something that Westlake has earned and worked hard for. I have witnessed the administration sweat and bleed for the students and the parents at Westlake to make sure that all the students academic needs are met. Westlake is a home away from home that I am proud and honored to be a part of. Go Westlake Bulldogs!!!!
This is an amazing school with incredibly caring Directors and staff! The education the students receive and the opportunities the kids have is excellent!
