I am very dissappinted in some of these reviews. I had the opportunity to volunteer here for a couple of months. The place is run entirely by volunteers. These kind people give their time, energy, and resources in to making sure people are taken care of. They do this expecting nothing in return. Yes, you need to have qualifying paperwork, and you need to schedule an appointment. They need time to prep each cart in accordance with each household's needs ahead of time. This is a small food bank in Holt, where the people volunteer in their free time. It is often run by only 4 or 5 people at a once. Some just getting off work. Being upset that you just can't show up anytime, without the eligibility information is not unreasonable, it comes accross as entitled. They need to be sure that the people who absolutely need it most, are taken care of first. Most of the time, these people would leave with two carts packed full. This massive amount is only meant to last a week. They get better food than I have, and it could easily last them a month. They do more than they can to be sure that people who need it, are taken care of. If you are reasonable with these volunteers, and work with them, they will do everything they can for you.

Gave a friend a ride there to pickup some food nice people and they gave her alot of food they we're also closed fpr the day but stayed open

Rude lady on the phone that needs to find a new line of work. My wife just had surgery and is off from work and this rude lady would not help us until after a week from now when we get paid and no longer need it. Looks like ramen for the next week and we will survive on our own like normal

They are super helpful and nice. By appointment only services. But they still helped us when we didn't have an appointment and needed emergency services.
