Definitely a fun experience. Would recommend it to anyone. Reasonably priced. Lots of information. Adam, the guide and one of the owners was very down to earth, and knowledgeable (which for a Marine was kinda surprising.....go Air Force!)

This tour was fantastic! Adam led the tour and is extremely knowledgeable and kept it interesting for all ages! For only 25 we felt we really got our money's worth as the tour lasted 2.5 hours, you got to pick a pod, crack it open, and taste various stages of chocolate! So much fun, my only regret is I didn't bring bug spray!

We saw chickens, scenic trees, flowers, did fresh fruit tasting, juice tasting, and tons of delicious chocolates, wow! Came to the right place! Came with my wife and son age 10, and we all loved it! Learned so much about chocolate, picked our own cocoa pod and ate the delicious seeds fresh. Guide and owner was an awesome dude, bright, down to earth, and chill. Great pace and tons of knowledge. The tasting was generous, and the price was so worth the tour. I tipped because other more expensive tours are half as good as this place. Actually easy to get to from Kailua, less than 15 minutes. Good change of pace, get off the beach, see a farm, taste fresh nuts, papaya, whatever they have in season, and tons of chocolates of all kinds.

Good fun tour with interesting facts and tales of cocoa farming. The tour was at a leisurely pace. Did not feel rushed at all. And the chocolates at the end were delicious. Highly recommended.

Super fun experience. Very low key. Not a long walk at all. We got to pick, crack open and taste cacao pods. Kids welcome, but they'll get bored with all the grown-ups talking about the agriculture stuffs...

What an amazing tour in a beautiful, outdoor setting being guided by very caring, kind and knowledgable owner/guide - Adam! We booked the tour without any prior knowledge of what to expect. The experience really surpassed any of our expectations - we learned so much about a variety of local plants and local ecology. Also, EACH guest was invited to pick their own cocoa fruit and we were taught how to open it and how to consume it - right on the spot! The taste was unforgettably delicious, a mix between sweet and sour (the closest fruit that I could compare it to would be lychee?) To top it off, everybody sat down for chocolate tasting, and the samples provided all came from the cocoa fruit grown and harvested on the farm. Owner, Adam, offered so many samples, that I didn't even want any lunch after the amount of the decadent fresh chocolate I had just consumed! I am so impressed with the quality of this tour, with the quality of botanical expertise, and with the attention of the owners who answered all questions with sincerity, knowledge and honesty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you, Puna Chocolate Company and Kona Natural Soap Company for educating and entertaining your guests as if we were your own family members! Blessings for continued success!
