Simple and small temple

Great way to start the new year! A blessing for the year and a fortune.
This place is a hidden gem. There are huge trees around the jinja and feel so calm here. Cannot believe this is just near the busy Pali highway.
Been coming here on New Year's Day now for almost 30 years
the place was very pretty but I got a very eerie feeling when I was there, I felt really weird.. Its a beautiful place but I recommend going with more than 5 people
Priest isn't always present
オアフ島最古の神社という事で行ってみました。隣にヌアヌバレー公園があり木々や芝生が綺麗です。公園の駐車場に車を止めました 冠木門の鳥居で建物は60年代の木造民間風です 参拝すると神主さんがいきなり御幣でお祓いしていただきました 賽銭箱の横にはチュッパチャプスが置いてあります 御朱印を授与してもらいました。ここのは日本語で書かれていて英語の刻印が入っています おもくじが25セントでチョー安いですね！ せっかくだから絵馬で祈願もしました 奇妙なトラベラーたかぼん
静かな場所にあります。 神社前の大木からはパワーがもらえます。 神社の中は土足厳禁で中にはお守りなどが買えます。日本語ができる方も居てました
