This was possibly the best thing we did in Waikiki. We got a lesson for my seven year old son so with his age he we had to pay for a one on one lesson and it was the best. My son LOVED it. Our instructor Zac was amazing. I would 100% recommend.

I would not recommend this place for beginner level surfer. The instructions and instructors are not very clear and the communication should be improved.I almost learn it by myself even I paid semi private lesson. And I don’t think they treat asian customers equally.
FANTASTIC SURF SCHOOL, THE ARE FRIENDLY AND HOSPITABLE
Rented a board for 8 days while we stayed at the Queen Kapiolani hotel. Board was in great shape, staff were really friendly and selection and quality of goods sold was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
I took a private lesson so paid a substantial sum of money. The place is conveniently located and has nice people working at the store. Instructor was arrogant and totally uninterested. Had to drag information out of him, between him surfing and talking to his friends. Good to rent a board from them but I wouldn’t recommend taking lessons.
Absolutely amazing!!! Instructors are phenomenal and want you to succeed and continually offer advice and tips until you do it. So much fun...hands down best experience in Hawaii!
My son takes a Surf Lessons with Hans Hedeman every time we are in Hawaii, about once a year since he was six,. They are so kind and patient and fun and instructive, he’s really becoming a good surfer. But even if you just go once they for sure get you standing up on the board and take great pictures. Highly recommend.
