Everything was done with excellent thought and execution. The flavor combinations were extremely thoughtful. Parking lot in the back and street parking. Excellent service from Christopher Chef came out to present his meals with explanations as to what it was we were eating. There was an oyster special on Sunday. We took advantage of this and enjoyed the goji berries that were pickled with shiso. We also had the scallops and mussels with beautiful seasonings and flavors that were so exciting for your palate. Then this kanpachi comes out and just blows your mind with the surprisingly creamy flavors but like a horseradish texture. Nothing was as it seems. All those beautiful components came together like a fine orchestra at the symphony. Finally, this amazing brisket arrives with some furikake rice. But this sauce is so smokey with some cumin seasoning and like a BBQ sauce but not quite like that but more of a mole flavor with its richness but not too overwhelming with heaviness. The perfect combination with the flavors in the sauce and makes you want to pick up the plate and lick it! I had to catch myself after every meal. I really wanted to like everything off of my plate. Maybe when no one can see me. We highly recommend this restaurant for the best experience, if you're a true foodie!

Wow - This was one of the most memorable meals I’ve experienced. The creativity expressed in this menu was impressive and unlike anything I’ve ever had. Each dish was unique in flavor and concept. The offerings change every few weeks but one thing I MUST recommend are the desserts, regardless of what’s on the menu. The service was phenomenal and I can’t recommend this place enough. Great job Heiho House!
Their cocktails are delicious. The menu selections are a wide range of flavors. Order many dishes to share! We had a wonderful dinner as the staff was very attentive
Worst meal in our two weeks in Oahu. They tried to be creative but failed miserably. Flavors were off. The only thing edible was the white rice. The short ribs with marshmallow sauce tasted like Johnson & Johnson soap. Really didn’t like the food here.
Great service provided by Kiko. Being our first visit there, she patiently explained all of the offerings as well as told us what her favorites are.
One amazing culinary experience. One of those places where you just trust your server for recommendations and never go wrong. Highlights were the Coppa di testa and Variations of Bark dessert (I know it's legit bark powder infused) Everything on the menu was amazing. This place is about quality over quantity and totally delivers down to the desserts. Amazing whiskey selection ordered a custom flight and had a great time.
Having traveled the world specifically to eat through the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Bars List, I certainly appreciate the creative combinations of flavor pairings here! The presentation and menu are the same caliber as many world-class and Michelin restaurants, so fine diners and hardcore foodies should definitely venture here. Unfortunately not all dishes wowed. The hits: Beef tartare Black Beard cocktail Variations of Bark dessert Short rib with meringue The misses: Dumplings Pork ribs The neutral: Chrysanthemum miso Kombucha From what we tried, there were more hits than misses, so that’s a solid positive experience in which we’d love to return to try new dishes. Definitely don’t miss the tartare, Bark dessert and Black Beard drink. Deserving of World’s Best/Michelin star recognition on those 3 alone!
