While I appreciate the history offered at the Iolani Palace, there was one rude hostess. She is the woman in the Blue room. She asked my family to step aside and allowed another family to go in front of us. I won't play the "race "card but it is worth mentioning. There was a young lady who was full of knowledge and I enjoyed speaking with her about Hawaiian history. The palace is worth visiting and has been restored beautifully.

The guides are super knowledgeable and do a great job giving you a tour around the palace. So glad I went, a wonderful way to learn more about Hawaii’s history! The grounds are also peaceful just to stroll around after.
Felt this story of the last Queen and the people of Hawaii. Touched my heart and educated me about the native people and the culture. Definitely a must see...
A very beautiful Palace that carries its own history. If you like to come in better with a tour guide to have a better explanation of the past history of the life of the king and how he lived here before the land became a part of the United States. I like the place it is fantastic!
This was one of my favorite spots during our week on Oahu. The palace and grounds are gorgeous and very obviously well cared for. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they have a great setup for COVID safety precautions. Our tour guide Jenny was definitely the star of the show, and everyone in my group absolutely loved her. She was super sweet, very knowledgeable, and you could tell that she loved what she did. I would definitely come back again post-COVID for a longer tour!
Very nice palace! A lot of history. Great vibe!
A beautiful and important place to visit while in Hawaii. Very well maintained, great explanations, fantastic experience. The team on location is very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful palace! Modern amenities for its time that absolutely surprised me. Susan was a great guide/host. The wood flooring is AMAZING. Tons of Hawaiian history here. A must see when you visit.
