I thought I didn't really like sake, then after coming here discovered I was just drinking the wrong sake! All the sake we tried was delicious. We did the omakase meal paired with the sake, and the value for the price was incredible - 4 glasses of sake and 5-6 courses for 75 per person. Pours are very generous so do not recommend driving here! Food was simple, home cooking style made right in front of us. Very good and we were stuffed silly. The staff were very friendly and we had a nice time talking story with them through the evening. And there's even a resident brewery dog who moved here from Japan!

Wow. This place is a gem. This is a small intimate restaurant specializing on sake brewing. Their sake is excellent. Crisp. Even the fruity sake, like lilikoi, isn't that sweet at all. It's a 5 course omakase dining that is generous on the sake portions. The food paired with the drink is just as good. Simplicity at is best.
This sake distillery is family owned and they are very friendly and knowledgable. They make excellent quality sake. I felt very welcome there.
Great local sake. The staff are extremely friendly. Hearing the details of each sake being brewed at this location is fascinating. I'll definitely be back to pick up more sake.
Had a very pleasant and informative evening with my wife celebrating her birthday. Chiaki and Tama were most gracious host. The sampling of sake paired with the dishes prepared were delicious. Mahalo nui to my friends at Islander Sake.
Great sake brewed on site paired with awesome food. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on different types of sake. Highly recommend.
There is an ineffable quality to fresh local sake. Our prior sake was Kikui dai ginjo, Islander is better. Not inexpensive, but so worth it. Happy to support our local brewer. Enjoy
High quality sake made by a woman who taught brewing in Japan. Bartender was very informative and the sake was very floral.
