Spring Nash

It's very authentic Japanese bar after work. Very reasonable and good. If you wanna feel Japanese salary man life, go there after work. Service is OK, staff is not friendly so much but it's very Japanese style.

It was a good cozy place, the people are nice. There were only two of them working and it got kinda busy around 7:30pm. Because of covid and slow times there is no happy hour. The food and beer were good. I would come back here again, it’s kinda hidden in the back.

So good! It’s a small restaurant. It’s really good so it’s very busy. With limited seating because it’s a PandoRa. Make sure u call for a reservation or to see if there are tables available. We walked up early so luckily we got a table outside. The restaurant otherwise was full with reservations. The food was amazing. We got raw Octopus wasabi, grilled squid, grilled mackerel, steamed shrimp dumplings, fried oysters, and pan fried noodles with squid legs and bonito flakes. They were all 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for the good meal!

Fantastic izakaya food. The pancakes are amazing. Just like eating in Japan. And so cheap .... just go and indulge!!

Amazing.. I don’t know how else I can explain this places food. We didn’t visit here for any drinks but just for food, and I’m not sure what other place can beat most of the menus that we ordered today. Seems like Google doesn’t allow iOS’s proraw format..? Can’t upload the photos unfortunately.

Due to the covid, we did take out. (They had several tables outside with plenty of physical distancing - the first good sign). Since this was the first time, I asked the host to recommend something - and he recommended Squid Lips IkaTonbi. We are so glad he did. What a treat! They were busy on Friday night - and that’s a great sign for the freshness of their food Also everything was priced very reasonably! We shall be back again. RECOMMENDED! #covidtakeput

Awesome hole in the wall restaurant. It's kind of hidden but I remember from my last visit in Waikiki seeing it and telling myself I had to come back and try it. And I'm so glad I did, because it was amazing. Food and service was great. Felt like I was back in Japan again. I'll definitely have to go back and try out more of their menu items. And I for sure recommend everyone who enjoys Japanese food and drinks to go here. And if the experience wasn't great already, when they dropped the check off, they gave us flavored sugar to make our own cotton candy! It was just a fun experience, great food and service, and the environment was cute and clean.
