Wow! What can I say about Kai Sallas Pro Surf School other than it was amazing. We decided to give surfing a try on our last day in Hawaii and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. My kids (8 and 9) had a private lesson and were up and surfing in no time. I was in a group led by Jake and he was awesome. I'm in no way coordinated, or in shape, and he had me up and riding waves with a smile from ear to ear. These guys are great. Everyone was smiling, laughing and cheering each other on. If you are looking for surf instruction in Hawaii look no further...these folks are so amazing! The whole experience was rad and we'll be back to give it another whirl next time we are in Hawaii.

My best surf school I have ever attended! The staff were professional, kind, and well informed. They brought us a spot where no crowd and safe waves. I highly recommend this school if you are in Hawaii and want to learn surfing :)

The instructor was wonderful, very patient and helpful, the waves were perfect for a beginner, and the environment created was lovely. Would recommend, 10/10!

The two guys who took my daughters and me surfing did a solid job. They communicated well, watched the girls, and even when we got tired they would literally tow us out and give us a shove into the wave! Their surf boards were in good order and they even brought along surf rash guard shirts we could borrow and booties too. They were even kind of funny; certainly friendly and tried to reassure us during our only second time trying to surf. They did a terrific job.

Amazing experience! Adults enjoyed surf lesson and patient instructor, but we were amazed to see how good instructor Bo was with our six year old. Had him up riding waves tandem style entire time. Would definitely recommend!

This was not my first trip to Hawaii and I was finally ready to take surfing lessons. The experience was good however I purchased the photos and I had to download an app called Dropbox to access the photos. Unknown to me the photos did not automatically stay there. I tried contacting the company and they were unable to resend me the photos because they don’t keep them. It’s very disappointing that those memories are now gone forever.
