La Vie at the Ritz Carlton is wonderful. Not only does the restaurant have a great view of the sunset, its staff and especially its food are excellent. Their menu changes but count on it being top notch. We did the choose 3 tasting menu and shared it family style. The plates are on the smaller side but with a party of 4 we were able to order practically every item on the menu. My personal favorite is the crispy frog legs. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Their asparagus and poached egg was also delicious. Don’t forget to pair your meal with a good bottle of wine. Their selection is excellent and Hayden their sommelier is great. Definitely go to La Vie for a wonderful evening.

One of the top ones in Oahu, near my place. fresh and healthy ingredients, that’s all the matters personally! I truly enjoy the food and service. The staff is well-trained, professional, they know/ introduce the details of every dish, which is a necessary for customers at some point. The atmosphere there is nice. Some dishes are creative. Overall, I’d say it’s a good one & you gotta try when you are here.

Great for a (special) date night. This is an expensive restaurant. The dishes were delicious. Some were spectacular, others were just good. The bread was marvelous. The service is what took this restaurant to another level. Thanks for the wonderful dinner, and the service to make it a night to remember.

Wow! This place blew my socks off. Don't remember the last time I had such an incredible dining experience. It was everything, food, drink, service and atmosphere that was just amazing. Didn't know what to expect when we made reservations. Food pictures on Yelp were amazing, yet reviews were confusing. Even their menu online caused a bit of hesitation because it wasn't set up like what you might expect from a typical restaurant, but we took the chance and boy was it totally worth it and more. First off, the location is grand at the Ritz Carlton and the restaurant floor plan was so open from the design as well as the layout. With the open air semi enclosed seating, you really got to enjoy the tropical views. Only negative thing was one level up from the pool deck and you could hear the splashing and carrying on of hotel guests below, but we overcame that with all the other positives. Each dish was just amazing and I can't say that I had a favorite because each one was so perfectly prepared, both visually and taste wise. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order there. My suggestion though, is don't be cheap and get the 3 course, but go for the 4 course. You will not be disappointed at all. Everyone working there was very professional and knew their jobs well. Our server, Ru was fantastic. She did a great job throughout the evening and didn't skip a beat with her outstanding service. If you are a 2 scoops rice, plate lunch kind of person, don't go here!!! This is for truly epicurious, gourmand and gourmet eaters.

We were staying at the Ritz Carlton and tried the restaurant there. The ambience wasn’t anything to write home about BUT...the food was amazing and the service was top notch. You can choose between a 3 or 4 selection tasting so we tried a few things and shared between the 2 of us. Hayden was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable and delightful. Standouts to us were the oysters, snapper and smoked duck. Portion sizes were great and each dish had a sauce paired on top. They served a complimentary mushroom brioche bread served with a truffle butter. This stole the show and we sopped up the extra sauce with the bread. We thought about doing a wine pairing but chose to stick with cocktails. I would come back in a heartbeat given the different options and pricepoint with the best service.

Delicious food, excellent service. Exceeded my expectations. Pricy? Yes. But it is worth it.
