I booked this little excursion with less than 24 hours before they left to go snorkeling. I was able to get a spot. I saw SO many sea turtles and beautiful fish. The snorkeling guide was incredible; he’s actually from the town I live in in Colorado. He was super sweet and took lots of photos for me of a rare and endangered turtle sitting at the bottom of the cleaning station. They were so informative and kind, and the captain of the boat was awesome as well. They provided juice, water and snacks of a few different varieties. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be using them when I come back in a few months. Thanks for such an amazing experience guys!

We had a party of 3 divers. 2 experienced divers & my friend who was diving for the first time. We were able to all dive together. Dive master Alex took the time to help my friend overcome her fears & assured us he would make sure she felt comfortable throughout the entire dive. On our 1st dive we saw a huge pod of dolphins. I’ve been diving 30 years & have never seen anything like that!! We also saw a ton of turtles, fish, eels & 2 white tip sharks. The dive master knew where to take us to see some great things. We were so impressed with the operation, we went back a few days later to go whale watching. We saw several pods & the guide on our boat knew all about the whales. The captain was knowledgeable, friendly & approachable. They have Living Ocean merch for sale & we bought a couple of T-shirt’s. We’d highly recommend this company from beginning divers to advance divers. They set up all your equipment, provide drinks & snacks & all you have to do is enjoy!
Chase and Dave were amazing instructors. Went on the snorkeling turtle tour and saw multiply sea turtles. They showed us where the turtles were and reminded us to say back and respect the turtles. Covid safe as we all wore a face mask on the boat and the limited how many for the tour. I would recommend this for beginners and experienced snorkelers as they helped those who were not as experienced. Booking directly through them ensured we could get a cancellation or rebook if the weather was bad which this did happen. Thanks for an amazing unforgettable experience!
Did two x2 wreck/reef tours and was the only guest both times, so I got two awesome days of one-on-one diving with extremely experienced and knowledgeable guides. They have a 25% returning customer discount which makes this the most affordable group on the island. Their tours leave early and return early, but don’t feel at all rushed. After diving the Sea Tiger on Monday, I asked specifically if we could do the YO and San Pedro the next day and they were able to accommodate easy. Calley and Greg are the best guides I’ve ever dove with and made me feel very safe. All 4 dive sites we were the first ones there. I was fortunate enough over those days to see a Hawaiian Broad Ray (rare), countless Green Turtles, a few baby white tip reef sharks, and some gorgeous and healthy corals, in addition to colorful fish of course! The best part about living ocean is that they were able to offer recommendations for other sites and tour operators outside of their scope that fit my interest perfectly. Truly feels like they want you to have the BEST experience possible, not just the most profitable.
I had an ankle replacement recently and this was my first time back scuba diving. Dave was so good about communicating and answering all our questions. On the dive Chase was extremely helpful as my body adjusted to diving again. Can’t say enough great things about Dave and Chase and Living Ocean Scuba. They are the best.
AMAZING!!!! So many turtles. The captain and guides were so friendly and attentive. They took the time to answer questions and make sure all were having a good time. Continuously checked on all of the snorkeler’s to make sure they were ok or if they needed anything. Definitely a must do.
This was awesome! Dave, Christian, and Chase weee so friendly and excited to share their knowledge on the ocean and specifically the turtles. On our tour we saw three turtles and a ton of fish! The snorkeling was so much fun and the guides truly help to make you feel comfortable. My husband and I did a lot of excursions while in Hawaii but this was probably our favorite! We definitely recommend this and would do it again next time we go back. Thank you!!
This snorkeling trip was awesome! Thank you guys for a great time. Saw a ton of sea turtles! Water was so clear. Would book again in a heartbeat!
